With two different contents, kids will practice their knowledge of the letters and numbers, which will help their acquisition process of reading and writing them. This animation stimulates students with its audio and rewards them every five sequences of hits.

Suggestions of approaches for the teacher

(Approach 1) Students can play individually or in groups. It is vital to tell students to be aware of the audio so they can relate it to the numbers or letters.

Students in groups can observe their classmates playing and write down if they make any mistakes. These notes can be used in further classes;

(Approach 2) Use the notes mentioned above to plan different activities. Suggestions:

• Write five other words with the same letter;

• Prepare a calculation (subtraction or addition operation) that results in a specific number;

(Approach 3) Promote activities of assembling words with the mobile. It allows students to experience a series of decisions about how to write.

(Approach 4) Replace the mobile alphabet with mobile numbers and encourage students to make calculations with them.

(Approach 5) Unscramble the letters to form the right word.

(Approach 6) Make hopscotch with vowels or numbers. While students are jumping, ask them to say the vowels/numbers out loud.

(Approach 7) Hot potato: students form a circle and pass a toy or a ball until the teacher says the key word.

(Approach 8) Play hangman or snowman.

(Approach 9) Play crossword puzzles.

(Approach 10) Write the numbers from 1 to 20 on the board and ask students to count.

Then, write a sequence of numbers 2 by 2 and ask them to count again.

Tell them they can count numbers in different ways, not only 1 by 1.

Give them exciting examples: counting their shoes, socks, or even their eyes.
