Suggestions of approaches for the teacher

(Suggestion 1) Gather the words of the whole class and propose that they separate them according to different criteria: words with the same number of letters, that start with the same letter, that end with the same letter, etc;

(Suggestion 2) Build a memory game with animals or objects that have the same initial;

(Suggestion 3) Make clippings in magazines assembling words;

(Suggestion 4) Cut out the letters of the alphabet from magazines, placing them in order in the notebook or bond sheet.

(Suggestion 5) Build alphabet from bottle caps. Distribute to students and ask them to assemble simple words.

(Suggestion 5.1) With the movable alphabet, ask the students to shuffle it and when the teacher says, they put it in alphabetical order. Whoever finishes first wins;

(Suggestion 6) Word cloud: draw a giant cloud on the board with each letter of the alphabet and ask each student to say a word that starts with that letter. Write each word that students say on the board so they can familiarize themselves with it.

(Suggestion 7) Use colored pens to write the alphabet in cursive and block letters. For each letter ask students to make a drawing corresponding to the initial.

(Suggestion 8) Print the alphabet in various font styles. Choose as different fonts as you can. Print out of order. Then cut them out and ask students to put them in alphabetical order.
